What is a Risk Inventory & Evaluation?

A Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RIE) is of great importance when creating and maintaining a healthy and safe workplace. A RIE will demonstrate in an extensive, detailed and clear manner what the healthrisks in a workplace are. By carefully designing a Plan of Approach, ways are found to create solutions to these risks, both on a short as well as on a long term.

It will take the expertise of a registrered Occupational Health Expert to plan and execute such an analysis for your company. The outcome of a RIE will be translated into helpful advice for improvement - for example; setting up an emergency plan or providing your staff with personal protective wear.

A RIE is also an important intrument for reducing the percentage of sickleave within your company. A RIE will show you which health and safety risks your company is facing and will offer suggestions for measures to be taken for your company’s Occupational Health policies.
